We wanted an engagement session on the beach at sunrise with beautiful light. We got a session at the beach with cloudiness and lots of wind. And we made it work!! Melva and Jason are so in love and it was great watching them together and hearing their story. They were also such great sports with the cold and windiness and the early start time. It was so worth it!
Just because a specific day is assigned to it doesn’t mean that we can do Throwback Monday! It’s been over a year that I met with the Whiteleys to photograph their second newborn session. I love that sweet little mouth! And of course we had to get big sister in there for a few
Now it’s time for some fun! Ana & Nathanael had their wedding reception at the beautiful Las Velas and the dance floor was never empty. Their guests know how to cut a rug!
We work hard to create beautiful portraits for our couples and this time was no exception. It was truly such a joy to be able to work with you guys!!
One of the most important parts of their wedding was for Ana & Nathanael to exchange letters that they had written for each other and then to have a moment of prayer before the ceremony without seeing each other. We were on hand to witness and capture those special moments for their memories. The ceremony was especially meaningful as it was officiated by Nathanael’s brother and held at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
I felt the excitement and anticipation as if I myself was an invited guest to Ana & Nathanael’s wedding! It was a wonderful sight to see these two be joined together as husband and wife, and even more exciting to see everyone else’s happiness as they encouraged and support this joyful marriage. I considered it such a privilege to be a part of such a meaningful and jubilant day! More to follow with their awesomely fun reception at Las Velas in Houston.
