365 – 2009

Get ready for lots of catching up. I kind of kept up with my “365” project (a picture a day) but I hadn’t posted them online for a while because so many things were pushed to the back burner.

1. A wedding ceremony photography. I’ve always really liked the colors and lighting in this church.

2. The bride walking outside before the ceremony.

3. A cute little flowergirl.

4. A father/daughter dance during the wedding reception.

5. Should I even try a “What is it?” with this one?

6. It’s too vague to make you guess. It’s the base of a thing I have. I can’t even describe it.

She said “yes!”

A really great day ended even better than Brittainy had expected when Mark took her to Hermann Park inbetween an afternoon show and dinner. As they strolled through the park, he pulled her aside and got down on one knee. Between tears of happiness, she said “yes” and remained in total shock.
Thanks for letting me witness such a sweet moment!

Kyra - This is so great! I feel like I was there, hiding behind a tree witnessing it happen! How awesome… you’ll be able to remember the moment more vividly, because I’m sure it was a blur!

Country Boy meets City Girl

So, the Country Boy was scaring the City Girls with stories of rattlesnakes while we shot their engagement session in some tall grass. Thanks pal!
It was so fun to get to photograph my friend and her now-fiancee during a very impromptu session – I’m glad we were able to pull it together so last-minute!!

Perfect for each other!

Jessica and Kyle put a lot of time and thought into their engagement session which is evident by the fabulous outfits they chose to wear. How cute are they?? And they made their session so personal. In case you’re wondering why they’re both looking at their cell phones: one of the things they do is watch their favorite shows and then text back and forth with comments about the show, if they’re not watching it together. Maybe they do the same if they ARE actually in the same room??
