Lindsay and Chad chose a beautiful bird and love theme with so many different birds as their centerpieces. Her orange and turquoise colors enhanced the reception room for this summer wedding. They definitely had one of the most memorable garter tosses I’ve seen. Chad’s garter toss included a police officer and handcuffs -quite memorable!

One of the highlights of the evening for the guests was the ice cream bar with ice cream cones provided by Chocolate Encore.

They finished off the evening with a beautiful sparkler exit and then took a few minutes to do one last portrait with the sparklers. A sweet night!

Lindsay and Chad’s wedding day finally arrived! After photographing their engagement session and Lindsay’s bridal session, I was excited to finally see all the special details that I heard about for so long.  They day was off to a rocky start with a heavy thunderstorm looming over the area, but thankfully it cleared up so that they could enjoy the rest of their day without rain.

Lindsay was surrounded by her bridesmaids and mother as she put on her dress and shoes, smiling all the way. Although they had decided to not see each other before the ceremony, Chad may or may not have tried to sneak a peek of the beautiful bride.

After Jill and James’s wedding in Houston we decided to also do a portrait session of them in Galveston because it provided us with much more opportunity to shoot beautiful portraits for them.
