This little guy must have taken a posing class before his newborn photography session because he was so natural and I didn’t have to work hard to pose him! We shot Leah and Layne’s maternity session just before he was born and all we could talk about was his arrival. And now he’s here and he’s adorable! I can’t wait to see him at his next photo session!!!
Aggies have the best receptions! There’s a spirit and camaraderie that is unmatched, especially when accompanied by the Aggie War Hymn during the reception! (And yes, this is one of the very rare times that I make an appearance in the pictures!)
There’s so much anticipation leading up to a wedding, but then it doubles when it’s on New Year’s Eve! There’s something about having a wedding at Ashton Gardens during the holidays – people are ready to party! Kendall and Grant are such a sweet couple that met at the Texas Hall of Fame in College Station, which is where we shot part of their engagement session. I was excited to finally see the shoes that Kendall had been talking about and they were gorgeous!
Kendall and Grant opted to have a First Look so that they could share a special moment before the ceremony. We decided to have it in the main room at Ashton Gardens which is surrounded by windows so it’s a beautiful place for a private moment.
When the ceremony started, it was candlelit and intimate. Afterwards we spent some time doing beautiful portraits for Kendall and Grant.
Thanks to Kasey for her help and Shannon for assisting!
As part of the experimental photo shoot with Monique of Perspectives Photography we experimented with some lighting and Robert was our model in the morning.
This is the second half of the experimental shoot with Monique of Perspectives Photography and our beautiful model, Maria! If you missed the sneak peek, here it is and the first part is here.
