In addition to photographing the dogs, we did a short and impromptu session with my cousins before we left for the day.

Almost immediately after arriving in Bogota from Barranquilla, I went to stay with my cousins in their beautiful house which was designed by him. As much as he tries to convince me that I’m still an architect, he’s the true architect. He did such a great job with the design! During the days I spent with them, I chased after their dogs Martina and Leeloo, a labrador and a golden retriever. Aren’t they cute? More pictures to come tomorrow.

8. I don’t even know what to say about this kid. He couldn’t tell us his name, and didn’t know his age. It seems he’s dropped off each day on the street with his two siblings and they have to fend for themselves.

It’s taken me a long time to finally get a chance to look at my pictures from my trip to Colombia in October/November so over the next few days I’ll be uploading several things.
These are the first half of just a handful that I took while on a missions trip in Barranquilla.

Nice photographs – showing another side of the city. Most tourists just get to see from El Prado northwards up to Buenavista which is on the face of it very affluent and not what many expect to find in Colombia, they don’t need to leave their comfort zone. I must admit myself I rarely go to El Centro, Santo Domingo, La Luz, La Paz etc. and I wouldn’t suggest that tourists hang out in those locations either. It is amazing though that the people are so happy and friendly.
These were taken back in June during my trip to Colombia. Roses have been my favorite flower for as long as I can remember. They’re just so pretty and delicate.
THIS AS SO AWESOME!! You should print these really big and hang them as art. You have inspired me to go out and photograph some nature, I just wish the nature around my yard wasn’t all dead.
