This family wanted a baby photography session outside of the norm and boy, they delivered. We met up at the Houston Hotel Zaza for this little girl’s posh session. Decked out in a beautiful tutu and beads, she shone and smiled the whole way. She has such a sweet little smile!
I was so happy to get a call from my friend David telling me that he was planning to propose to his girlfriend and that he might need my help with it……in less than 24 hours. Thankfully I was available and we came up with our sneaky plan and it was sure to go well since I’d never met Amy before so she wouldn’t recognize me.
Needless to say, she was totally surprised and in shock when David proposed to her. And I was there to capture the whole thing from a distance…..while hiding behind a light post?
No matter how much planning you put into an event, it’s bound to NOT go without a hitch. Never mind that they showed up half an hour later than planned (I was waiting outside and it was COLD) and never mind that he didn’t read the part of the text message that said “Sit by the trees because the lighting there is better.” Never mind all that.

There are a few things to top a photographer’s dream list and Heather and Brandon surely gave me one of those things when they told me that I had as much time as I wanted to photograph them! *sigh* It makes me happy. This is exactly the reason no other photographer would do for us……we even changed the date of the wedding to ensure Dianna would be able to bring her unique gift to my daughter’s special day. We are so pleased (blown away) with the pictures….we love Dianna….She really does ROCK!
