Session Fees
The session fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your date and includes:
- the initial portrait planning consultation
- photographer’s time and talent, and artistic editing
- preview gallery
- travel for on-location photography (within 20 miles of the studio)
- your session fee is refundable up to fourteen days before your non-wedding session
Clients committ to a minimum $450 order per portrait session
Newborn sessions: studio – $125, on-location – $175
I prefer to shoot newborn sessions within the first week because they are sleepier at this point and more adorable to photograph while asleep. Expect each session to last an hour to an hour and a half – this gives us time to work with your baby’s schedule. You have the option of having your session at the studio in the Woodlands (starting September 2012) or at your home during baby’s first week.
Portrait sessions: on-location – $175
Any age is a good time for kids and families to be photographed. They grow up so fast! Sessions last about an hour and are photographed on-location. Up to 5 people, $25 for each additional person.
Senior sessions: on-location – $200
You’re only a high school senior once! These aren’t your typical studio shots. I like to put your personality into the session and your session will be photographed on location. Being able to photograph at many different locations means your pictures will be as unique as you are. The pre-session consultation meeting is designed to help us connect about ideas for the session. Expect each session to last up to 1.5 hours and up to 3 outfit changes. A parent is required to be present at the initial consultation.
